In order to meet the needs of a wide range of handling applications, Tecnitude’s belt conveyors are modular and adjustable for light concrete (wet or dry), Portland cement (ventilated, clinker), mortar, sand (wet or dry), gravel (wet or dry) and asphalt.
Concrete handling with belt conveyor systems
Tecnitude provide full bulk handling systems, either for sale or lease. Two types of frames are available in order to suit many applications: heavy industrial frame Manukit conveyors or light, compact frame Manubloc conveyors. Tecnitude’s conveyors can be fit with slewing wheels with or without traction for a “grasshopper” configuration. We provide an online calculation tool to assess your power needs. We also offer a range of hoppers (ready to go, or as kit) to load belt conveyors.
Advice on concrete conveying :
- The conveyor belt should not be too long in order to avoid mix alteration
- Input and output: steps should be taken to avoid mixing problems and to keep a homogenous mix (using cement mixers or funnels)
- Belt: use specific scrapers or cleaners followed by high pressure jets
- Inclined belt: take water loss during conveying in consideration
Some examples of concrete handling systems
Depending on your specific needs Tecnitude’s belt conveyors are adjustable in height, width and length. Our product modularity and standardization make for an easy integration. The concrete handling unit can be adjusted to be used for another handling application. The robustness, modularity, and lightness of our handling systems facilitate the shift to any other type of site.
