Soil can be contaminated by various heavy metals, waste, hydrocarbons, chemical products and other pollution. The cleaning method requires soil excavation by setting up a soil processing plant at the site.
Tecnitude and soil cleaning
Tecnitude is active in chemical, hydrocarbon and UXO clearing areas by providing appropriate equipment for the cleaning process, based on the quantity to be handled.
The process is mechanical and allows separation of the product by employing a complex process of fragmentation, cleaning and dissolving, size sorting and type of material sorting. High-pressure water washing enables separation of the smallest particles where the polluted materials are concentrated (see video of the washer below). Separation of remaining soil is done in tailing ponds. For heavy metals, Tecnitude uses a ferromagnetic separation process by overband magnet.
The belt conveyor transports soil to sort out soil from steel in order to extract explosive remnants of war. A tailing pond has been set up in the back.

Tecnitude’s drum washer
The drum washer is a rotating machine to remove diluted particles found in lime, soil and clay. It features a washing-settling based on the principle of autogenious washing.
